Stuff for Schools

Your school could help build schools in Burundi by taking part in FacilitAid’s ‘Brick-by-Brick’ Project.

FacilitAid supply the Burundi Bears on a sale or return basis and these are exchanged at school for a donation of £1. 100% of your school's donation will go towards building schools!

FacilitAid have produced a free resource CD for participating schools, to help with the Global Citizenship and Sustainable Development aspects of the National Curriculum. The CD contains, Facts & Figures on Burundi, Photographs, Worksheets comparing life in the UK and life in Burundi, a PowerPoint Presentation with teaching notes for use in class or assembly, a Geography Scheme of Work and more!

Many schools have helped in other ways too. Some by holding a non-uniform day, sponsored events, coffee mornings or cake sales and even giving donations from After School Clubs.
